Meet Our Junior Shaliach
Shalom! The Friedberg JCC is happy to introduce Maya Braverman, our new Junior Shaliach! 
Making her first visit to the United States at 22 years old, Maya is not entirely new to North America. From a young age, Maya was actively involved in Zofim, the largest youth movement in Israel. Originally from Petah Tikva, Maya spent a year in Canada and Eilat as a Shinshinit. Maya completed her service with the IDF last December. With a keen interest in the relationship between Israel and other countries, Maya is now particularly focused on strengthening ties with Jewish communities, a commitment that has intensified since October 7.
Look for Maya in our Early Childhood classrooms, our Adult Services Programs, and the JCC lobby, sharing her love of Israel and the Jewish people!
